Homes that should be condemned house families like yours, with children forced to live in conditions that are parallel to a third world country. It’s not because parents don’t care, or that they’re negligent. It’s often because they can’t afford to do better.

We know that the economy has crippled an uncountable number of families, and we know that so many of those families still continue to give back in their own communities without thinking of themselves first.
